Electric cars; the cleaner, more environmentally friendly alternative to your gas guzzler.
Under the Hood of the Hybrid Market
In 2007, the Energy Independence and Security Act was passed, which later led to many regulations being pushed out by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These regulations were aimed at car manufacturers and would start the move toward cleaner and more fuel efficient vehicles in the future. With these new regulations putting pressure on the manufacturers, research and development increased on hybrid and electric vehicles, as opposed to the vehicles using the common internal combustion engines. This essay will focus on Honda’s practice of producing the Accord. This vehicle is produced with either an internal combustion engine or a hybrid option. The American Honda Motor Company should continue to produce the majority of their Accords with the internal combustion engine for the foreseeable future due to the production cost of hybrid vehicles drastically outweighing the consumer’s willingness to pay for the hybrid variant of the Accord.

Is the Trucking Industry REALLY Turning Electric?
The trucking industry is moving towards electrification, but the transition is currently uneven and more complex than the shift to electric cars or vans. The Right Way to Jump-Start a Hybrid Car Safely, Expert Tips
Hybrid vehicles combine gasoline engines with electric motors and large high-voltage batteries to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Despite their advanced systems, most hybrids still rely on a standard 12-volt battery to power electronics such as dashboard systems, computers, locks, lights, and ignition controls. If that smaller battery dies, the entire vehicle may appear completely dead even if the large traction battery still has charge. Unlike fully electric vehicles, hybrids depend on both systems working together properly.

Las Vegas Police Enter the Cybertruck Era - Fleet of Police Cybertucks
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has officially become the first police agency in the United States to deploy an operational fleet of Tesla Cybertrucks for patrol duty. The department recently unveiled 10 heavily modified Cybertrucks customized specifically for law enforcement operations, instantly creating one of the most futuristic police fleets in America. Unlike standard consumer Cybertrucks, these vehicles received extensive upgrades from UP.FIT, the police-vehicle division of Unplugged Performance, transforming them into fully equipped patrol units designed for urban policing, rapid response, and tactical operations. Their aggressive appearance, flashing rooftop light bars, reinforced bumpers, and custom police livery make them look more like military vehicles from a science fiction movie than traditional police cruisers.
