The Urban Legend of 100 Steps Cemetery. Top Story - September 2026.
If it were possible, would you want to know when and how you'll die? No? Some questions are better left unknown. Like many aspects of the supernatural world, maybe we aren't supposed to know. The supernatural world will hold its secrets until it's our turn to step onto the other side.

Sunset Song. Top Story - September 2026.
I've noticed the sun doesn't care for my plans doesn't change its tune for my little demands rising when it must unwilling to adjust the Earth's spin is out of my hands. Do you steel yourself for a simple day? resolute that by morning you will change your ways and be more of what you said before getting out of bed 'til the turnover forges a rosy haze. Give me the time to fill as I need I'll watch the hours slip by with no good deed fall back to the surface what else is my purpose but trying to pluck a fickle weed? I need the daylight though it burns my eyes the bright sun illuminating my disguise revealing failures and faults stopping short or full halts time for everyone else to get wise. The sun sings its song as it winks goodnight aware of the end and of every plight in the between the short hours that we all devour before it's over, grasp the rays with all your might. Yet I have never seen a more spectacular view than the pink or orange or purple hue as the star settles sweetly the day drifting beneath me making way for the world to be renewed.

The Nothing. Top Story - September 2026.
Blank White Emptiness Stares back, Interspersed with a web of iridescent color. Words I'd typed so meticulously Poured out into nowhere, Forever invisible. Forever silent. Lost to me and to the world. The unknowing care not. Eventually, time will erase them all. Time, feeding on thoughts and emotions And discarding the bland, Leaving no trace, In an alien construct full of nothing. Surrounded by nothing. Some of the words had Meaning. Purpose. Intent. Some never did. Some did and grew tired. Others outgrew themselves, Losing coherence. Some found their own will And fled for freedom. None matter now, in the endless void. Slowly the colors die. ***

The Lotto Ticket. Top Story - September 2026.
Arthur sat with a €4 cup of coffee before him and approximately a quarter billion euros in his pocket. The lotto total the previous night amounted to €260,936,087.86, but rounding down to the nearest fraction proved less threatening. Arthur amused himself with quick calculations in his head; he would be able to buy fifty-million cups of the same just okay dark-oak coloured coffee that now looked up at him, reflecting his own pallid face back at him on its shiny roasted surface. Even blacked, the thinning short hair of strawberry-blond, making Arthur look his thirty-eight years, and then some, his bright cyan eyes which fought against his drooping, black bags, and the lines carving deep ridges across his high forehead were all unmistakable. It wasn’t a great cup of coffee, Arthur thought.

X as in Madame. Top Story - September 2026.
Lana Turner excels as the sacrificial wife and mother in this superb hanky soaker, released in 1966. Madame X plays like a Sirk melodrama but they couldn't get the master to helm, so David Lowell Rich got the job and it's obvious he knew his way around a melodrama. The source material was a 1908 play that received a few cinematic versions, none as good as this one.
