Hillary 2020? I'd Rather Not
Earlier this week, it was reported by two of Hillary Clinton's former campaign advisors that a 2020 run would be likely. While there has been no official statement from Clinton, she has not denied the possibility of a presidential run in 2020. Today I would like to objectively discuss why this could be disastrous for the democratic party. To be clear, I am not saying that Hillary Clinton will definitely run in 2020, but that if she does, it could be the worst choice for a candidate the Democratic Party could make. In short, Hillary 2020 is a bad idea because first off, she lost to Donald Trump in 2016. It should have been an easy path to the presidency, but it absolutely was not. This is because her brand of politics just is not what the people are looking for anymore on either side of the aisle. Hillary Clinton represents what many people despise about American politics. For many, she is the lack of real change that has persisted for so many years. Finally, by running in 2020, she would be stepping on the toes of the Democratic party and holding it back for at least four years.

Brexit has been described as a tumultuous time in British Politics. This is mainly because the mainstream press has decided against using a more accurate set of four-letter words to describe the situation, but nevertheless they have been talking about it. The front pages of all the mainstream papers have soaked themselves in as much non-information about Brexit as possible. While Brexit is something which should be talked about, it could be argued that the United Kingdom’s exile from Europe could be suffocating more important news stories. Examples of these are the police taking the government to court due to more budget cuts, the NHS being sold to as many money-hungry tax-avoiders as possible and Phillip Green being revealed to be exactly what everyone expected him to be. This list of stories being overlooked because of Brexit is far too long to be written out, so I am going to focus on one particular incident, which took place during Prime Minister’s Questions this Halloween.

Sorry Rep. Pelosi, but you did not win the House. The DCCC didn’t win the House. The Resistance won the House. The Resistance made up of rational Republicans, Independents, Progressives, Liberals, and Democrats. This is not your win. Your run-of-the-mill, kumbaya, work across the aisle blather is exactly why, we, the resistance is telling you to step aside and let our new representatives run this thing.

Tuesday, October 30, 2018 Dear Senator Portman, Thank you for your email with regards to the message I left with your office on October 29. While I’m heartened by your concern over the deaths of the 11 innocent people at the synagogue in Pittsburgh this past weekend, I called to request that you use your position to refute the latest action taken impulsively—and many Ohioans believe with bigoted motives—by the current occupant of the White House.

For decades, Saudi Arabia has been globally acknowledged for its political weight and strong influence over the Middle East—due to its rich oil resources and for hosting the two holiest sites of the Islamic faith.

10 Things You Didn't Know About John McCain
Republican senator and war hero John McCain was one of the last few politicians who became respected by both Democrats and Republicans alike. He was a man who finally spoke out against the corruption going on around Capitol Hill, when most other Republicans refused to.
Riley Raul ReesePublished 6 years ago in The Swamp "Why Us?" Say White Male Democrats
For one thing, being represented by a White man in a district that’s predominately Black and Brown and female—no matter how progressive the person—is actually not representative in the way a representative democracy is supposed to be. It’s a matter of perspective.
The New ProgressivesPublished 6 years ago in The SwampElegy for a Maverick of Mixed Premises
Most men are gray in terms of their convictions. They hold onto good and life-affirming ideals while also clutching toxins at the same time. Many men have exhibited this dichotomy much like the late Senator John McCain. As he espoused “Duty, Honor, and Country” during his lifetime, the words encapsulate the man’s entire outlook on politics and life as a whole. Two out of the three ideals show a sense of what is the worst in an individual, duty and country.

I know I have written several pieces on the subject of the SNP and its effect on the life of Scotland and its political and people. So I decided to take a break from Scottish politics for a wee while. Unfortunately, I have no option but to write a little bit more about the present status of the SNP attempts to push for a second independence referendum and sundry other matters. Deep breath and here goes.....

In light of the current legal proceedings involving the Trump administration, especially the "Intelligence Community" investigating alleged crimes arising from the so-called "Russian Collusion" hysteria, it's worthwhile to revisit a comment made by Senator Charles "Chuck" Schumer (D-NY) in January, 2017, even before the President took the oath of office.

ASL? Anyone who has ever entered an internet chatroom has been asked this question. After answering, many of the people asking the question will ask for proof of this. A good catfish will have plenty of pictures available to share with their potential victim. Republican Illinois State Legislator Nick Sauer allegedly did this to at least eight straight men, using pictures that his ex-girlfriend sent to him.
