My Corrupt Life, By Claudia Nicole Parker

Hi, my name is Claudia, and I am here to talk to you about my corrupt life. My parents got divorced when I was very young. Growing up, my dad raised me to be a republican, but my mom raised me to be a democrat. Being young, I had no knowledge of what those words meant, or how being one or the other would affect my life, and affect how people looked at me, and how they treated me.

I was about 10 years old when I really started to learn about politics. You see, my school had put me in special education classes even though I was smart enough and very capable to be put into regular classes. So in my regular classes, we would learn about our past presidents, and in my special education classes, we would learn about other things. So I had to eventually learn how to do my own research, and figure out what party, or if a party even fit me.

In 2012 Obama became President. I knew he was running for the democratic party, but I did not know what that meant. All I did know at the time was that my mom liked him, my dad did not. When I was asked who I would have voted for, I said I did not know because I did not understand what the heck everyone was talking about. It wasn’t until 2016 when Donald Trump became President, that I really started to do my own research about politics and the different parties. Even though my dad was a republican, and my mom was a democrat, I just went with what felt right for me, and what I agreed with, and what I thought was the best decision I could make at the time.

Well, it is now 2021, and let me tell you something; I have never been more worried about this Country, or my future than I am now. I wish Trump had gotten 4 more years as President, and even though I may not like Biden, I will;l still respect him as a person because that’s just how I was raised. I do not agree with all the hate that is going around. I personally feel like everyone should be treated better, and with a lot more respect.

I understand that everyone has their own personal views, but I honestly do not think that everyone has that mentality, and I think that’s where a lot of this hate is coming from. I feel that everyone should not be judged, or hat4ed just because of their views. There are a lot of things I do not personally agree with, but I do not go around judging, or hating others for their beliefs.

I know I am probably going to get a lot of hate and judgment for this, and that is okay. I do not need to explain myself to anyone, and if someone doesn't like what I have to say then that is fine. I just think people need to have more respect for others, and I am not directing this towards any specific person. I am just simply saying that everyone needs to be treated equally, respectfully, and if someone has a different point of view or perspective, then others need to respect that. Not everyone's the same, and if everyone was the same the world would be a very boring place.

In conclusion, I personally feel like we as a country should come together, and be the country that we were when this country was first founded. And if someone doesn’t like something, they need to keep it to themselves, unless it is actually causing someone or something serious harm.

THE END
