Post-traumatic-stress-disorder has unique aspects when it comes to service members. Voluntarily removing oneself from society to join a subculture of that vary society to uphold and defend the rights of that exact population can be emotionally/physically and psychologically damaging. The impacts of seeing and experiencing the worst atrocities that humans can inflict on each other can leave one with nightmares flashbacks and intrusive thoughts. These symptoms can hinder growth in ones career,family and all other social interactions.

American startup Hermeus will build a passenger plane up to 5 times the speed of sound, which can fly from New York to London in 90 minutes. Since the Concorde retired nearly 20 years ago, people’s interest in supersonic travel has been accelerating, and several super-high-speed aircraft are under development. Airlines also seem to be very interested. United Airlines has promised to provide supersonic routes as early as 2029.

While many rightly honor the sacrifice that the millions have made over the years in their service to America, there is one sacrifice that may go unnoticed: the additional risk that those in the armed forces face regarding skin cancer.

We've all heard about the life-long effects that war can have on human life. Effects of war can include mass destruction of cities and long lasting effects on a country's economy. Citizens can turn into refugees and there are possibly mass killings of men, woman and children alike. The disastrous effect it has can last for lifetimes and even centuries.
