Psychopaths are superficial, glib, and sexually promiscuous (source), which are the traits of most people although having these traits doesn’t make one a sociopath or psychopath. Sociopaths have emotions, they just have trouble accessing them. Fearlessness, dominant behavior, as well as immunity to stress are often traits found in psychopaths. The Hare Psychopathy Checklist screens a person for potential psychopathic traits because psychopaths are 1% of the population. Psychopaths have a grandiose sense of self-worth. Psychopaths cannot endure being down for too long. They need something to perk them up like having a victim to push around. Psychopaths tell lies that most people are conned into believing.

Psychopathic people do not show many emotions when emotion is necessary to use. Some of them are callous individuals who lack empathy. They don’t care when bad things happen to other people. Some do not work for a living or have trouble maintaining jobs. Psychopaths have trouble keeping them in check. Psychopaths are into one-night stands or promiscuity in general. Young psychopaths do not understand that cruelty is wrong well into their adult life. Psychopaths lack realistic long-term goals because they would rather lie about or embezzle money.

Psychopaths have impulsivity problems, which means they have some money problems. Psychopaths have a huge arrogance complex. They act like they own everything including their kids. They fail to accept responsibility for their own actions since they enjoy blaming people a lot. Psychopaths repeatedly betray long-term relationships. Psychopaths mess up all the time because they occasionally catch breaks for good behavior they feign to get by. Psychopaths break any laws they want to break because they feel the law doesn’t apply to them. Sociopaths do have some emotion they fake about things since a narcissist is firmly on the sociopathic spectrum. Sociopaths lack remorseful feelings or guilt in addition to this being true of psychopaths as well. Psychopaths are irresponsible about showing up to work on time, as well as getting their work done at all.

Sociopaths accept the blame for other people’s actions. Sociopaths are willing to hurt people to reach their goals. Source. Sociopaths enjoy lying about going to work when they are in fact, unemployed. They go to great lengths to force you to believe their lies. Their charm is but superficial, designed to promote their agenda, which is to hurt you. Sociopaths deliberately look for people with unmet needs in order to target that person. Sociopaths like to prey on either the strong or the weak because either target will do for them.

Normal people have empathy for others. Sociopaths create drama out of thin air. Sociopaths snap and get violent in an instant but then act calm again. Sociopaths think they are the best at everything when they get delusions of grandeur. They may imagine they have talent but it isn’t a real talent at all. There is no evidence that the sociopath is superior to everybody else but that is how he or she feels about himself or herself. Sociopathic people take someone else’s suffering and make it about them, not wanting to hear what other people have to say. Sociopaths are a danger to self and others all the time when contradicted. The person has few real friends, or is friends with their family or perhaps likes pitting their friends against each other. Sociopaths like to manipulate people by wearing a mask, and often demand you dump all your friends. They really can’t accept consequences for their actions. Sociopaths have needy problems in which they make you be there for them when they want you to be. Projection is a behavior that sociopaths engage in, they blame others, and accuse you of being a liar. If you are the one made to feel crazy, then you are dealing with a sociopath. Blank stares at you are another sign you are dealing with a sociopath. Sociopaths may flatter you into getting a second chance when it isn’t deserved. It is best to avoid these characters. The best way to deal with a sociopath is not to get manipulated by them anymore, by showing your personality and standing your ground.
