Why Do We Sabotage Our Own Goals?
Every year, millions of people around the world set goals—personal, professional, financial, or health-related—with the best of intentions. Yet despite motivation and planning, many find themselves backsliding, procrastinating, or outright abandoning their goals. This phenomenon, often called self-sabotage, can be perplexing and frustrating. Why would anyone consciously or unconsciously work against something they genuinely desire?

Born At 28. Content Warning.
Never in my life had I imagined a day where I could wake up, stretching my arms to the sky as the goose bumps danced along my skin....without that feeling. That deep rooted anguish that floods in after that painfully short second of nothingness. That second when you wake up and for a moment you are unaware of the pain. A second of mercy before reality sets in, overpowered by that pit in your stomach and that growing hole in your chest.

"I Don’t Want to Die. I Just Don’t Want to Keep Waking Up Like This."
It’s not death I’m chasing. It’s silence. A break. A pause in the unbearable hum of existence that starts the second I open my eyes. It’s not that I hate life. It’s that I’m exhausted from surviving it. I wake up already tired, like I’ve lived a full day in my dreams — a nightmare marathon I don’t remember running. My body wakes up before I do, and by the time my mind catches up, I already wish it hadn’t.

10 Simple Things That Instantly Make You Feel Better (Without Changing Your Life)
We all chase happiness like it’s some distant goal. But what if the real magic lies in the small things? The everyday moments that don’t require money, success, or approval — just your presence. Here are 10 simple things that can instantly make you feel better when life feels heavy. --- ### (1. Fresh Air — No Matter Where You Are) Open your window. Step outside. Take a deep breath. It sounds basic, but your brain and soul both calm down when you inhale something real. Nature has a way of reminding you: “Hey, you’re alive. And that’s enough right now.” (. . .) Movement + air = peace. --- ### (2. A Hot Shower or Cold Splash) Water resets your nervous system. It doesn’t fix your problems — but it refreshes your body, and your mind follows. A warm shower can feel like a hug. A cold splash on your face can break the spiral. It’s an instant reset — like wiping off emotional dust. --- ### (3. Listening to a Song That Gets You) Not just background music. A song that hits your heart in exactly the right way. The one that makes you cry, or smile, or nod silently like someone finally gets you. (. . .) It’s more than music. It’s therapy in melody. --- ### (4. Saying “No” Without Explaining Yourself) You don’t need a reason to protect your peace. Saying “no” — and not feeling bad about it — is a powerful way to reclaim your energy. You don’t owe anyone an excuse. Your peace matters more than their expectations. --- ### (5. Cleaning Just One Thing) Don’t tackle the whole room. Just clear the chair. Or make your bed. Or wipe the mirror. It’s not about perfection. It’s about momentum. A tiny win in your outer world often sparks calm in your inner world. --- ### (6. Telling Someone You Love Them) A message. A call. A simple, “Hey, just wanted to say I appreciate you.” Connection reminds us we’re not alone. Love — given freely — feels like a soul vitamin. Even if they don’t say it back. You still feel lighter for expressing it. --- ### (7. Sitting in Silence With No Phone) No scrolling. No noise. Just… sit. Let your thoughts slow down. Let your shoulders drop. Let your nervous system breathe. Even 5 minutes of silence can feel like a reset button for your overwhelmed brain. --- ### (8. Laughing — Even a Tiny Chuckle) Watch that funny video again. Scroll memes guilt-free. Call the friend who always cracks you up. Laughter isn’t just a reaction. It’s medicine. (. . .) Even a smirk counts. Your brain remembers joy faster than you think. --- ### (9. Moving Your Body (Without Overthinking)) Walk around the block. Stretch your arms. Dance like nobody’s watching. You don’t need to hit the gym. Just move. Energy moves emotions. When your body shifts, your mood follows quietly behind. --- ### (10. Reminding Yourself: “This Is Just a Moment, Not a Life Sentence”) Read that again. This sadness. This tiredness. This feeling of being stuck — it’s not forever. Reminding yourself, even softly, that things will shift — that you’ve survived worse — can soothe your nervous system instantly. (. . .) Say it aloud: “I won’t feel like this forever.” - - - - - - - - - - ### 🌿 Final Thought You don’t need a new job, a perfect body, or a healed past to feel good today. You just need small moments of intention. Tiny bursts of peace. Gentle reminders that your soul is still here — and still worth caring for. Feeling better doesn’t always come from fixing everything. Sometimes, it’s as simple as a clean shirt, a song that hugs your heart, or stepping into the sun for a few quiet minutes. (. . .) Life is hard. But healing can be soft. Let today be soft.

10 Signs Your Soul Is Tired (Not Just Your Body)
There’s a kind of exhaustion that sleep can’t fix. You rest, but you still feel empty. You stay quiet, but your mind still screams. You do everything “right,” but nothing feels okay. That’s not just tiredness. That’s your soul asking for help. Here are 10 signs your soul is tired — and it’s time to start healing from the inside out. --- ### (1. You Wake Up Feeling Heavy — Even After Sleep) Your body is rested, but your heart isn’t. You open your eyes and feel a wave of dread. Not fear. Not anxiety. Just a quiet, aching heaviness — like something’s weighing you down from the inside. This isn’t laziness. This is burnout of the soul. --- ### (2. You Feel Numb — Not Sad, Not Happy, Just… Numb) You’re not crying. But you’re not smiling either. You scroll. You eat. You talk. But it all feels muted — like you’re watching your own life from the outside. Numbness isn’t peace. It’s your spirit shutting down from too much noise, too much pretending, too much everything. --- ### (3. You Start Avoiding Even the Things You Love) The music that once healed you? You skip it. The people who made you laugh? You ignore them. The hobbies that sparked joy? You have no energy for them anymore. (. . .) This isn’t laziness — it’s soul exhaustion. When your spirit is drained, even joy feels like work. --- ### (4. You Can’t Be Present — Your Mind Feels Elsewhere) You’re there… but not really. You’re in a room but not connected. You’re talking, but it feels automatic. Your body is present, but your mind is far, far away. Your soul is asking for stillness. Silence. A moment to simply *be.* --- ### (5. You Feel Guilty for Needing a Break) You keep pushing. Keep showing up. Keep saying “I’m fine.” Even when you're not. And if you *do* take a break, you feel bad. Resting feels like failure. But deep down, you know you're running on fumes. Guilt is not a sign to keep going — it’s a sign to pause. --- ### (6. You Start Questioning Everything) “What’s the point?” “Why do I even care anymore?” “Does anything matter?” These aren’t dramatic questions. They’re spiritual SOS signals. Your soul is lost, not because you’re weak — but because you’ve been strong for too long. --- ### (7. You Withdraw — But You Don’t Know Why) You cancel plans. You ghost people. You stay silent. Not because you hate them. Not because you're mad. You just... can't. Your energy is gone, and even connection feels like a burden. This is your soul trying to recharge in solitude. --- ### (8. You Crave Peace More Than Attention) You stop chasing validation. You stop arguing to be understood. You stop trying to impress anyone. All you want now is peace. Real, quiet, gentle peace. When your soul is tired, it doesn't want noise — it wants safety. --- ### (9. You’re Overly Emotional or Completely Emotionless) Little things break you. Or nothing gets through at all. Both are signs of a soul stretched too thin. You’ve either been holding it all in for too long, or you’ve completely shut down. Both are valid. Both need rest. --- ### (10. You Miss the Old You — But Don’t Know How to Find Them Again) You remember when you laughed without overthinking. When you trusted easily. When life felt full. Now? You feel like a shell. And you don’t know how to get *you* back. But here’s the truth: You haven’t lost yourself. You’ve just buried her beneath survival mode. --- ### 🌱 Final Thought You’re not broken. You’re not lazy. You’re not overreacting. You’re soul-tired. And your spirit is asking you to slow down, breathe, and return home to yourself. (. . .) Drink water. Disconnect. Say no. Sit in silence. Let yourself feel. Let yourself rest. Because sometimes, healing doesn’t begin with a therapist or a book. It begins with one quiet decision: **“I can’t keep living this way — and I don’t have to.”** Your soul doesn’t want perfection. It just wants peace. And you deserve that — starting now.

Finding Your Glimmers
Hope (aka. a 'glimmer' of hope) is not lost in the simple pleasures of life; even if you think (or more importantly feel) that life feels like a lost cause from 2020 onwards. It is fair to say that the world has (and still is) undergoing some deep and significant transformations, where it feels like you may not have anything to look forward to in moving forward. Depression (and sometimes anxiety, but mostly depression) is the epitome of not finding any joy, and where there feels like (or in actuality there is) a lack of gratitude and love (the two highest positive emotions that a human being can endure, and hence enjoy) can feel like that glimmer has dulled its shine; and therefore you may no longer feel safe - let alone seen and heard. The latter is what we all need in order to thrive, and to go beyond Maslow's basic hierarchy of needs. It is like igniting a bit of romance and spark, so that your life is not too onerous or mundane.

10 Things That Instantly Make Your Life More Peaceful
Peace isn’t found in a faraway place. It’s built in small decisions, quiet choices, and daily habits. We chase happiness, success, love — and in the process, we forget the one thing that truly sustains us: peace. Peace isn’t luxury. It’s a necessity. And the good news? You don’t need a complete life makeover to find it. Here are 10 small but powerful things that will instantly make your life feel more peaceful. --- ### (1. Say “No” Without Explaining) Peace begins when people-pleasing ends. Stop overexplaining. You don’t owe anyone a detailed reason for saying no. Your time, energy, and peace are sacred — protect them. Every time you say “yes” to something that drains you, you’re saying “no” to yourself. (. . .) Start saying “yes” to yourself instead. --- ### (2. Let Go of What You Can’t Control) You cannot control how others act. You cannot control what already happened. But you *can* control how you respond. You *can* choose what you carry and what you release. Holding on to things you can't change is the fastest way to lose your peace. --- ### (3. Protect Your Morning Energy) What you do in the first 10 minutes of your day matters. Stop checking your phone right after waking up. Don’t let the world in before you’ve even let yourself breathe. (. . .) Mornings set the tone — keep them calm. Try light stretching, deep breaths, or a short intention: “Today, I protect my peace.” --- ### (4. Detach From Chaos You Didn’t Create) Not every battle is yours. Not every opinion needs a response. Not every message deserves your energy. Silence is powerful. Walk away from the noise that doesn’t belong to you. Peace means choosing where you place your energy. --- ### (5. Spend Time Alone — On Purpose) Alone time isn’t lonely — it’s necessary. Solitude helps you hear your own voice. It helps you separate your thoughts from the world’s noise. Take walks alone. Journal. Listen to your own feelings without interruption. (. . .) The more time you spend with yourself, the less approval you’ll seek from others. --- ### (6. Declutter Your Physical Space) Messy room. Messy mind. You don’t need to deep clean every day, but try this: - Make your bed - Clear your desk - Throw away what you no longer use Outer order creates inner calm. Peace starts with small surroundings. --- ### (7. Release the Need to Be Liked) Not everyone will get you. That’s okay. Peace comes when you stop performing for approval. You’re not here to be everyone’s favorite — you’re here to be *yourself.* Be honest. Be kind. But be real. The right people will stay. The rest never mattered. --- ### (8. Choose Rest Without Guilt) Rest isn’t lazy. It’s life-saving. Stop glorifying burnout. Stop measuring your worth by how exhausted you are. Your peace matters more than your productivity. (. . .) Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is take a break — and not apologize for it. --- ### (9. Create Boundaries Like a Ritual) Boundaries aren’t walls — they’re doors. They keep your peace inside and chaos outside. Don’t wait for people to respect you to start respecting yourself. Say: - “I’m not available for this.” - “That doesn’t work for me.” - “I need time before I respond.” Boundaries don’t push people away. They protect the right ones from getting lost. --- ### (10. Focus on Your Inner World More Than the Outer Noise) Likes. Follows. Money. Status. None of these mean anything if your soul is screaming. You don’t need more. You need less — of what doesn’t feel real. Return to what calms you. What feeds your spirit. What helps you breathe. (. . .) Peace isn’t a place. It’s a practice. --- ### 🧠 Final Thought You don’t find peace by running away. You find it by slowly removing what doesn’t belong, what doesn’t feel right, and what doesn’t make your soul feel safe. Real peace is quiet. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t beg for attention. But when you have it — you’ll know. Because finally, you’ll feel at home… even in your own silence.
