A look at anxiety in its many forms and manifestations; what is the nature of this specific pattern of extreme fear and worry?
Cheese Shamed
I allowed myself to be cheese shamed at the store the other day and it wasn't even done by a proper monger. As I walked to the back corner of the store where the cheese lives, I could feel my heartbeat quicken with anticipation. You see, I had just found a brand of cottage cheese called “good” and not only is the company super responsible with how they source their milk, but they also make really good cottage cheese, which, in my opinion, is almost as rare as a well-fitting pair of 9-inch high rise bicycle shorts. There is a meal in England that properly captures that experience for me; two sausages topped by something soft and amorphous...yes, bangers and mash.

Mr. Poser
One would think that with all that is going on in the world I would exhort my energies on things that are important, and not get so bent over things that others do, that to most people, are just a minor inconvenience, but…Here I sit, frustrated and butt hurt, spewing off at the mouth, to no one but myself. I curse the idiot who is holding up traffic for those of us who need to make a right turn.

11 ways to adapt to an ANXIETY problem
First of all, we have to understand that during depression our brain is lying to us and we can t use it to fix itself. So, we need somebody else: a therapist. Depression or anxiety is not about a person being broken, is about, unfortunately, a common issue nowadays. Therapy is nothing about us being ashamed for, is about wanting to overcome an issue that is more than present in any life.

This must be what you meant
After checking through all my Sent Items, I could see that I’d been sending you e-mails for almost three weeks after the date they said you died. Like me, you weren’t always prompt about your replies, and I was assuming that you had better things to do, possibly with that neighbour of yours who always seemed to be making her way up the stairs to her flat with a fistful of mail and wearing something delightfully flimsy.

There's a Monster Living Inside of me Named Anxiety.
I’m sitting in my empty bedroom. Moving is a hard thing, a big step, especially when you’re moving out on your own. I didn’t think I’d be ready at 20 but it feels right at this point. The freedom involved with living alone is almost high-inducing. Never really experiencing true freedom my entire life, I was excited about this new step, this new thing I got to experience. The thing which everyone else gets to experience and now finally, my time has come.
