The Mirror Test
THE REFLECTION YOU AVOID đȘ There is a specific way people look at themselves in mirrors that has nothing to do with vanity and everything to do with self-knowledge, and it is the look they never take. They will check their teeth before a meeting and examine their outfit before a date and monitor a pimple for a week and watch their hairline for years but they will almost never look directly at their own eyes in a mirror with the specific intention of seeing rather than evaluating. Not seeing whether they look good or presentable or rested or professional, but actually looking at the person who is standing there, the one behind the appearance, the one who has been making decisions and forming relationships and constructing a life and who may or may not be someone they recognize or like or respect or would choose if choosing were possible đ

Ruled by Shame
I am not sure if you noticed when former AG Pam Bondi was being questioned by the House Judiciary Committee in February, and during other interviews, she would reply with huge negative emotional reactions and point her finger at the camera in defensive disgust at those questioning her cover up of the Epstein files. Forget the words that came out of her mouth for the moment and look at her nonverbal language (intense finger pointing and sneering). Most likely, she was mirroring how her parents, caretakers, and teachers scolded her when she was wrong in their eyes. In addition, characters like Stephen Miller and Todd Blanche also do quite a bit of finger pointing during interviews. Have you wondered why so many leaders in the Trump administration scold the camera and sneer at the interviewers with shame?

The Trust Architecture of Online Tarot: What Mainstream Coverage Still Overlooks
The online tarot market in Spain has entered a period of sustained mainstream media attention. In April 2026, a national Spanish broadcaster aired a segment on the sector featuring operational sources from within the industry. The reporting moment invites a more durable question than the one typically addressed on television: what architecture of trust actually protects a consumer of these services, and why do so few platforms provide it? The essay that follows sketches that architecture and identifies the structural deficits that remain.

Overthinking
THE HAMSTER WHEEL YOU CANNOT STOP đ It is two in the morning and you are still awake running the same scenarios you ran at midnight, at eleven, at ten, when the day ended and your body stopped moving and your mind immediately accelerated to fill the stillness. You are not solving anything. You have not been solving anything for hours. You are replaying a conversation that happened three days ago, imagining seventeen different versions of a situation that has not happened yet, and cataloguing every possible interpretation of a text message that took longer than usual to arrive. Your body is exhausted. Your brain is running a marathon.

How Climate Anxiety Is Reshaping Life Decisions . Top Story - April 2026.
The saying that the future is in our own hands is ever so true, and climate change and concerns for the environment is a thing. The concept of Eco and Climate Anxiety is so real. On this, the entire world was brought into a war with Iran from the 28th of February 2026, where uncertainty is reigning over access to fuel (particularly diesel for agricultural purposes). Not only does this "fuel (and possibly energy) crisis" change people's behaviours and actions; it is also impacting peoples deep psyches and their mental health. WiFiTalents reports that 60% of adults in the US confess to having a little to some level of eco anxiety.

Burnout
Burnout does not arrive dramatically. It does not kick down your door and announce itself like a breakdown scene in a movie. It slips in quietly, wearing the clothes of ambition, responsibility, and âjust one more push.â At first it looks like dedication. Then it looks like tiredness. Then it starts eating your memory, your patience, your joy, your libido, your immune system, and your ability to feel anything except dread. By the time most people realize they are burned out, they are not just tired. They are altered.
