Aran
Aran lies in bed, eyes focused on the ceiling. His phone sat on the nightstand to his right. The screen lights up, and he can see the flash of light out of the corner of his vision. He doesn’t move to check whatever messages he’s received. Sadly, he knows what most of them will say. Messages from earlier in the night flash in his might, and he attempts to push them out quickly.

What could I possibly say . . .
As someone who has been writing fiction on and off for twenty years or so (not professionally, of course) a question was posed to me recently by someone who has helped with editing a number of my stories, asking what I would talk about if I were to be asked to give a speech or write a column.

Majestic Hinchliffe
Above the historic Great Falls of Paterson, NJ, and on the edge of the historic district sits a concrete amphitheater that can house 10,000 attendees. The stadium dates back to the 1930s and has played host to numerous sporting events, concerts, antique car shows, and other community events.

Elvis, Flat Earthers and Rhinestone Related Injuries
My mum worked at the convention centre. We were poor, not broke, but just that way the working class are poor without being destitute. You know, one present at Christmas and dad in bed from working night shift, but we were lucky to have Christmas, right?

The LGBTQA+, the Liberation of Love and Rejection of the Binary.
There is a belief, one that has proven particularly intransigent despite the amazing progress of the LGBTQA+ movement, among humans both straight and otherwise that LGBTQA+ love is somehow different from straight love. I want to analyse this belief, refute it and also lay out what I see as the final outcome of our movement for as much as Pride is a celebration of our right to exist, of our staunch defiance of bigotry and intolerance it is also a movement. A movement hellbent on "Making Love Great Again." From Stonewall to The Equal Marriage rights passed in some countries recently we have achieved so much but still have SO MUCH further to go. Where are we going? In my opinion, a place better than we've ever dreamed of!

Where My Journey Toward Pride Began
I’m just 1 person on a constantly evolving journey toward pride. I could fill a book with the search for myself, though by the time I finished the book, I likely would have discovered new things about myself I would want to include. My understanding of my gender and sexuality grows as more terms are defined and as I explore who I really am. It has taken me years to find myself on the asexuality and genderqueer spectrums and to be open and proud of those parts of me. I can’t fit it all into one article, so I thought I would discuss how my journey began.
