Do the terms diploid or polyploid have any meaning for you? Probably not. But if you have any interest in understanding what makes one bag of marijuana give you nothing but a mild headache, while another makes you feel no pain, then perhaps you should read on, and become enlightened.

One thundery, slate-grey day in the Piney Woods, the fox and the toad were seated in the fox's den, awaiting the arrival of their bridge opponents, the badger and the rat.

When I first attended a “velada” (vigil) sung by María Sabina in Huautla de Jimenez, and when on her invitation I first ingested the divine mushrooms, I was bowled over by the performance. It took place in the lower floor of the home of Cayetano Garcia and –his wife Guadalupe. Little did I know, Maria Sabina's mushroom ritual was one of a few catalysts responsible for introducing Psilocybin mushrooms to the Western World.

"Of course I know how to roll a joint." Martha Stewart said that in an interview with Andy Cohen. Martha Stewart and Breeanna Whitehead would probably be friends. Pothead, rule breaker, weirdo—these aren’t the words you generally associate with your boss, but the employees at Stoned Girls are led by an interesting woman. Breeanna Whitehead is a founder of Stoned Girls, a company dedicated to hot girls and weed. The website is plastered with half-naked women smoking bongs and Whitehead wouldn’t want it any other way. Although medical and recreational marijuana has been legalized in some states across the US, running a business about weed is still frowned upon.
Potent StaffPublished 8 years ago in PotentBest Pot Brownie Recipe
I’d question my friendship with anyone who doesn’t love a nice batch of brownies. I mean come on: chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate? Who could possibly say no to that? My first memories involve licking the batter off of mom’s brownie bowl, with the fudgy goodness igniting my tastebuds. But what mom didn’t include is an ingredient I learned to curate and perfect in the future: cannabis.

Mary Jean DunsdonPublished 8 years ago in PotentMarijuana Moments Throughout History
Religion and history are full of miraculous stories and larger than life characters. From Jesus to Christopher Columbus, the burning bush to the Garden of Eden, we are taught that these people and stories are the righteous among us- they are our examples and our best case scenarios. But what they also share, is a rich history of marijuana moments. That’s right. Recent science, biblical scholarship, and historical evidence prove time and again that many of our favorite biblical stories and historical characters grew and smoked marijuana. It was included in holy rituals and everyday necessities that you definitely didn’t learn about in history class.

The Rasta kissed his wife and children good-bye and started walking up the mountain path. After several hours, he came to a cavern and slid down the rope hanging over the side. About 30 feet down was the entrance to a cave. He swung in and walked toward a light about 100 feet ahead. Hearing the bubbling sound of a chalice, he followed the sound to its source and found the most ancient-looking Rasta he ever saw, drawing on a huge water pipe. The smell of the ganja was the strongest, sweetest aroma he had ever had the pleasure of inhaling.
Wendy WeedlerPublished 8 years ago in PotentTop Stoner Movies
Have you ever sat down with friends, your significant other, or just by yourself, to pick something to watch on TV? More to the point, have you ever sat there and spent the whole time you meant to be watching TV watching previews for an hour, unable to decide on what to watch? This happens to me all the time. Even when I am not stoned. It all comes down to data. How informed are you? Where can I turn to when I need a real recommendation? Sure, I could buy in to the notion that Netflix or Amazon have their amazing algorithms that determine just the right content for you to watch, but that works like shit if you have 10 family members and friends mooching off your account.
Johnny HashPublished 8 years ago in PotentEvolution of Cannabis Culture
Cannabis is the most publicized vegetable in history. From Madison Avenue ad agencies to the swift and deft legalization movement, marijuana is on everyone’s mind in one way or another. It also grows in virtually every country and climate. It literally grows on the streets of North Korea. The plants are quite graceful to see as well, sinuously waving on their flexible stalks with long serrated leaves, much like bamboo. Perhaps such a sight inspired the underground interpretation of Bob Dylan's phrase "The answer, my friends, is blowin' in the wind, the answer is blowin' in the wind".
