Quiche has become a staple breakfast delight in households across the world. Proving that yes, anything can be made into a pie, this “egg-pie” can be combined with a myriad of cheeses, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients, to create a unique breakfast––or dessert––dish that is unique to your gustatory needs.

You can Quiche Your Ass Goodnight with this exclusive Baked: Cooking with Mary Jean recipe, which combines the standard quiche with everyone’s favorite ingredient: cannabis. The first of its name, the Cannabis Quiche is your medicated solution to aches & pains, annoying family members, and munchies galore. The perfect appetizer for your next party, the Cannabis Quiche is handy, bite-sized, and filled with highly enjoyable fun.

Before you dive into this delectably enjoyable Quiche Your Ass Goodnight recipe, you’ll need to decarboxylate your herb. That’s right: decarboxylate. It’s time to get scientific!

In order to achieve a high from your edibles, you’ll need to go through a decarboxylation process, which––in a nutshell––knocks the carbon off of your weed-atom, allowing you to feel the cannabinoids’ psychedelic effects. For a full chemistry lesson, head over to our How To Decarboxylate For Edibles article.

The two main factors that contribute to decarboxylation are heat and time. Decarboxylation occurs instantly when vaporizing or smoking cannabis because of smoking's inherently high temperatures. While it does this quickly, it also eradicates the cannabinoids, which you want to maintain in your edibles. In order to keep the integrity of the cannabinoid, and not destroy it in its entirety, you needs to heat the cannabis at a lower temperature during a longer duration.

Remember to choose clean cannabis for cooking. Phant Extracts is the clean, natural choice to include with your food. Some growers put pesticides and herbicides in their crop, and some don’t even flush their crops properly. Please, know your source! Choose clean cannabis.

For this recipe we recommend the OG Kush from White Palm. This calming indica is paired perfectly with an afternoon quiche, giving you more of a head high that makes you happy before getting sleepy and full. The OG Kush Cannabis strain is great for this ailing with anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. Quiche Your Ass Better!

In order to decarboxylate, you’ll need:

  • Oven set to 220 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ground cannabis
  • One baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Finely grind your cannabis until it can be spread finely and thinly over the parchment you have placed on your baking sheet. Place the sheet into the oven for about 30-45 minutes.

Once you have your decarboxylated cannabis, you can begin the Quiche Your Ass Goodnight recipe.

    Creating Cannabis Quiche

Yes, quiche is a breakfast food, but I recommend having these small, delectable Quiche Your Ass Goodnight quiches for the nighttime. They’re potent, powerful, and strong enough to send you into an amazing slumber. Don’t make these for breakfast… unless you want to go back to bed.

    For this recipe, you’ll need:

    • 4 Eggs
    • Handful of Spinach
    • 1/3 Cup Milk
    • Minced Onions
    • Pinch of Rock Salt
    • Grated Cheese (Pick your favorite)
    • Parsley
    • 12 Tart Shells
    • 4 Grams of Shake Flour
    • Optional: Tablespoon of Melted Butter/Bacon Grease

One person can eat about two quiches (or more if you’re starved!) With twelve tart shells, this recipe serves six people. For that many servings, you’ll need about four grams or shake flour in this recipe.

Pour the shake flour into the blender first, and add in one tablespoon of melted butter (to help out more with the conversion of the cannabis after you decarboxylated it) or Bacon Grease (if you have it). Watch our episode on Wake ‘n Bacon to learn this easy technique.

Next, add in your four eggs, one handful of spinach, ⅓ cup of milk, minced onions, and a pinch of salt. Blend on high for ten seconds, then switch over to medium for another ten seconds.

Place your 12 tart shells on a tray, and pour your quiche blender contents into each tart shell until it is just below the rim. Place the tray in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes.

After your quiche is in there for about 15 minutes, they are not ready for eating just yet! Take the tray out, and place a pinch of grated cheese on top of each quiche. After all of your quiches are covered with cheese, place the tray back into the oven for another 8 to 10 minutes, or until cooked.

To complete the Quiche Your Ass Goodnight recipe, garnish with some fresh parsley. This recipe is one of the best ways you can make homemade quiche. You’ll never want to go back to store-bought mix again!
