Youthful Memories

- Poetry Woven in June's Breeze

By Dawnxisoul393artPublished 3 days ago 2 min read

The Bauhinia's blooms, a verdant crown

Adorn the shoulders of June, a regal gown

As the sunset paints the sky ablaze

A crimson dragonfly, its wings ablaze

In this early summer, a gentle breeze

Yet, the birds, they keep their voices at ease

~

The crabs, they scurry, upon the sandy shore

Reveling in the joys this season has in store

This very spot, where I once ran free

Carefree memories, an endless poetry

For youth, it seems, is an endless song

Woven with the tides that carry us along

~

And in this sunny June, I sing the sea

Its siren call, a symphony for me

For the ocean's embrace, it knows no bounds

Inviting me to explore its endless sounds

The Bauhinia's petals, they softly sway

As the sunset casts its vibrant display

~

The dragonfly, it dances, a graceful flight

Weaving through the air, a captivating sight

The birds, they rest, their melodies subdued

Yet, the crabs, they frolic, their spirits renewed

This spot, it holds my youthful memories dear

A tapestry of moments, forever clear

~

As I sing the sea, its waves caress

Reminding me of the freedom I once possess

For in June's embrace, a timeless grace

I find solace, in this familiar place

The Bauhinia, a symbol of strength and grace

Blossoms with the passing of each season's pace

~

The sunset, it paints the sky with its fire

While the dragonfly, it dances, never to tire

The birds, they rest, their voices hushed

But the crabs, they revel, their spirits flushed

This spot, it holds my youth, a precious trove

Where endless poetry, my spirit did grove

~

The sea, it calls, its siren song

Inviting me to join its endless throng

For in June's embrace, I find my way

Reconnecting with the essence of each passing day

The Bauhinia, the sunset, the dragonfly's flight

The birds, the crabs, and this very site

~

All weave a tapestry, a timeless tale

Where the sea's symphony, my heart does hail

For in this moment, I am truly free

Embracing the beauty that surrounds me

June, with all its wonder, its grace, and its light

Has rekindled the spark, that burns ever so bright

Postscript:

In the gentle twilight of June's sweet embrace

A postscript I pen, capturing its fleeting grace

/

The Bauhinia's blooms, once crowned in verdant hue

Now whisper tales of beauty, bidding the season adieu

/

The sunset's fiery blaze, a vibrant memory in my mind

As the dragonfly's dance fades, leaving tranquility behind

/

The birds' melodies, now stilled in twilight's embrace

Yet the crabs' joyful scurry lingers, a reminder of life's pace

/

This spot, where memories dwell, forever etched in my soul

A tapestry woven with whispers of youth, making me whole

/

As I sing the sea's song, its symphony in my heart

June's essence lingers, an eternal work of art

/

With gratitude, I embrace the beauty June has shown

In its final moments, a postscript to call my own

/

For in its passing, I carry its magic within

A cherished chapter, where timeless memories begin

Wow - you wove a magical ending to June with all the creatures in the daytime and then calming at evening. I do not think I’ve ever seen bauhinia! 💕💕💕💕
