You Know All Hydration Fluids Aren’t Created Equal…Right?

Cheers to drinking the good stuff (according to whatever floats your boat)

Substandard liquids will not fill your cup

And you can pour

anything and everything

from Perrier to Prosecco

OJ latte rosé

sorrel or sangria

distilled career objectives over crushed ice

with retirement package purée toppers

fresh wardrobe pickings from concentrate

blended with ideal physique

for relationships of legend (or your money back)

laudatory accolades and achievements

steeped in hot water

add social sweetener of your choice

his/her selection tonics during sex and sue season

elixirs that may pass your lips

but not your love

your longing

life

that unseen wellspring inside

a dehydrated desperation desire on its knees

for moisture promised

meaning produced

to validate some semblance of existence

more esoteric

less 'same shit different day' routine

since you’ve checked every box

reside in exclusive zones

know someone who knows someone

sport VIP membership

plus the company car

to quench famine-ridden deprived parts of you

which haven’t seen a bona fide access route

in what feels like forever

yet the source that seats soul

exercised hellur patience

and extraordinary restraint

as you sampled every dispensed drink

life’s soda fountain had to offer

and pretended to like it

because you thought

that’s all there was

Assembly line living on repeat

But no

wait…

liquified rapture streams outta depths

without track or trace

Does more in one drop

than all the sea’s horizons put together

Sought after unbreakable connections

filled to carafe-blinging brim

I remember

you relish

the sensation

this ecstasy infusion

even before first sips

An intergalactic beverage menu selection

tantalized appeal with satisfaction guarantees

of not one space in you left unfulfilled

Essence of nirvana

preserved peace

in reservoirs beyond time

Land of everlasting spirit rivers

with slow rise to honor divinity in you

and

secure proof of trust-defying gravity

that falls backward

into greater macrocosm of self

confident

there’ll be a splash

Wow. This has such profound depth. Just wow. Just reading this feels like it amped up my spiritual frequency 🤍🙏✨ thank you

  • The blending of images/metaphors, weaving them so seamlessly together in such a dizzying, hypnotic way..., I don't know whether to applaud or fall over. Incredibly well woven. Bravo!

  • You certainly have a way with words! You've brilliantly created such vivid imageries! I loved this so much!

Quite the recipe, my friend. We thirst and thirst and thirst, but don’t identity whist will quench us
