Depending who we talk to
in the busy of our day,
someone kind might perhaps
tell us that we look nice or
regard us with that friendly stranger smile.
Always remember that we are the other person.
Care about the people we bump into and pass by.
Try to not be so terribly absorbed
in our ego,
our own blinkered idea that we are the only
nag pulling a heavy load alone.
