It’s a rhythmic thing
A mathematical equation
You are but a number among many
But what a magical thing to be
Placed where you are placed
Until another number comes along
And changes the entire sequence
The sum of the parts
May be true in this moment
And that can never be denied
As one plus one will always be two
But being a number
There are infinite possibilities
Where you don’t just belong to one equation
Being a number, you get to be a part of many equations
As many as your heart desires

A Digital Pandemic.
After a long day in the department, Emily dropped her worn and tired dark leather bag on the counter before navigating through the small and disordered kitchen to grab a cold beer from a contrarily empty fridge.
