Yellow cars

what if we started counting grey cars

It´s like looking for yellow cars, thinking there aren´t any. So, you look for them and suddenly you see them all around. You think everybody is happy and in love. You have this foolish romantic notion, that others - that I - just need to open my eyes and then we´ll magically find it, but to me it is painfully obvious that though there are plenty yellow cars around mine is still grey. I just choose not to take obsessive note of every single shiny, yellow middlefinger of a car rolling by.

Because you´re young there´s always tomorrow right? Always an other day after that. And an other one after that. Let me tell you... we were young once too and now look at us.
