Wishful Teasing
For those that enjoy the pleasures of being teased.
A feminine trick that
moves mountains,
but never furniture.
Breakfast lunches and
hangovers are free.
Sex appeal leaps from
her eye cue as time is
spent making temporary
male friends and permanent
female enemies.
After wiggling the bait a little,
the summer guest without
a heart makes a fool of the
man without a head.
For a second they form a
river too big for their
bridges and play a game
that’s always easy to start
and difficult to finish.
The tempting daughter whose
favorite man is the next
one, continues to make some
men forget they are married
until her wishful teasing turns
into a masculine let down.
