Woke up this morning with an ache in my heart

Hoping today the world would make a new start

Somebody said it was a little to late

That the people of the earth have sealed their fate

So many times man-kind has fallin

Can’t you hear the ghost of the past a callin

There is to much hate and to much crime

Believe that we are running out of time

To me it don’t seem to strange

For people to up and make a change

The world is different as you may know

But look to your heart and love will grow

Love for each other is what they say

Can’t we realize it’s the only way

So look to your soul and open your mind

See if there is peace that you can find.
