Whoever I Love

Poetic reflections in my younger years

Who ever I love should not be concerned,

For my life will always seem to revolve around you,

No matter what has been said or heard.

Love has no limits,

No color,

No size,

But all that counts are the people in your life.

Love is a fragile thing,

It comes and it goes,

Places unimaginable the mind does not know.

It can make you,

It can break you,

It is like a rubber band,

If you stretch to hard it flys out of your hand.

So be careful of you relationships,

Treat them right,

Because who knows,

You may even need them in the middle of the night.

If we only knew then what we know now, right? A minor technical issue: 'It came make you', should that read 'It can make you"? I really enjoyed this poem, Kayla. You have lots to say and a great way of saying it!
