What's Going On

In the World Today

By Jackie SagastumePublished 8 months ago 1 min read

What is going on in the world today?

Lovers are killing their lovers, babies are dying by the hands of their own mothers.

Pedophiles are molesting children, robbing them of their pure innocence. How does any of this make any fucken sense?

Foreign countries starting wars, using violence to settle scores.

The blood of the innocent, the blood of children being spilled for no good reason. People being hunted like its hunting season.

Police are beating or shooting black men to death, being implicit but swear they're not racist.

How did the world become such a mess, full of suffering and stress?

Why do you think so many people suffer with some kind of mental illness, whether it's anxiety, depression, bipolar or psychosis.

We are dealing with something, so why do so many people have no empathy?

No wonder so many people feel so empty and alone that they feel like suicide is the only way to go.

More people need to be caring and kind , put themselves in someone else's shoes and keep their feelings in mind.

Take a better look to notice the warning signs.

If more people cared about others the world would be a better place for mothers, daughters. fathers , sisters, brothers and everyone in between. Everyone would be equal, they would matter and be seen.

Will it ever happen? Nobody knows but a girl can always dream.
