What is life but time

Time with a rhythm and rhyme of its own

What is life but time?

Time with a rhythm and rhyme of its own.

What is time but a tunnel with its own pattern?

Even if you can't see the sun, you know it's there behind the clouds.

What is life but longing?

The continuous search for pleasure.

Full of radiant colors like a beauty pageant,

Doesn't matter -- pretty it or not, life just keeps on rolling and rolling.

What is life but love?

A warm breeze brushes past you as someone walks by you.

You're lost in the moment of their attention and warmth.

Even more, you are feeling lost when that someone is gone.

What is life but fate?

A hand that sometimes guides us gently, other times pushes.

We're in control sometimes, while at other times we feel as if someone else is in charge

As we struggle to keep our heads above the water.

What is fate but life?

A mysterious cycle, you have no control over.

You can live with it and against it and find yourself in a situation

Where your life and love are feasting of sumptuous fate.

What is love but life?

A cycle of winners and losers, an unceasing circle.

Each pass-through brings in someone new, takes someone out.

Yet it's that feeling of love that we crave the most.

That one magical feeling...
