Wednesday

It was a beautiful day

Abducted from the world of the dreamers

By the rays of sun peeking through the curtains

I smile as the world shimmers

Happiness at bay keeping death away

It's a beautiful day.

I walk down the street with no fear in mind

A fatal flaw I would later find.

A beautiful figure walked to me seamlessly with no sound

A big smile worn like a gown

and bigger eyes that would later make me blind

Every word she uttered was alluring

Hitting me like a hypnosis

Had I known she were so cunning

I would've ran instead of walking

Wednesday was a beautiful day

I met a lady who pushed a dagger through my chest

She called it love

But now I cannot move.
