Winter Turns to Spring

The ice melts when the sun rises

Remove the sweat from my eyes it is tedious.

Oozing from the pain dancing on my heart so gloriously.

Palpitations as my heart hits my ribcage violently.

Broken promises, slowly stepping out of love secretly.

Where is our perpetual sunrise beloved?

My head hurts from the disarray of my heart.

It is burning like wild fires in a veld.

The echoes of your empty words echo in the empty walls,

Dragging me down graciously as I fall.

My world darkens as the pregnant clouds threaten to deliver,

As my eyelids become heavier.

You ran with my heart

How does one live then, my darling?

Death approaching from this fatal loving.

As the rain pours and the clouds fade,

Winter slowly fades and turns to spring.

Colouring my world with the bright colors of love.

My lament turns to brighter shades.

Enchoring quietly like guitar strings.

Sadness becoming a haze,

A beautiful complication like a maze.

I will again give the love as intense as hate

A beautiful confusion.
