We Think We Know Their Story
A Poem of Loss
We Think
We know their
Story
Because we
See the glory
The fame
But there are
A thousand stories
Hidden behind tired
Eyes.
We Think
They have it
All
Simply because
They have fame
Like somehow
That eliminates pain
When in reality
It often intensifies
The pain
A thousand-fold.
We wonder why
When we watch them
Fall
The pressure
And pain
Breaks some down
Until their
Is nothing left.
And some
End it all
Leaving a thousand questions
And a million tears.
