Snake

Slithering

Into my heart

Coiling

Around my core

Twisting

Through my eye

Winding

Into my navel

Snaking

Among my bosom

🐍

Venomously

Eating away

Poisonously

Gnawing off

Anemically

Draining dry

Attempting

To leave me to die

🐍

But fighting

I shall rise above

Eventually

Doing the right thing

Leaving

Putting myself first

Peacefully

Living my life

About the Creator

Mother Combs

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
