Vestigios
Spanish / translated into English
Poetry by Alfredo Correa
I. Vestigios
Clues
I rush on the drops of the perfume I crave, sublime refuge to play crouched down with the dawn and its sparkles,
the river also lives sounding
with its wild waters
and cascades of meringue In the shadow of the hill I follow the adored ruins that leaves footprints
of moans and ambitions
The shrieks of the sun announce my coming
and the souls spells
hides in the breezes of enchantment Before I arrive
I dress myself with fireflies to illuminate my beloved who hides among the leafs casting her gaze
We find ourselves dreaming and our desires kiss
Naked bodies tremble ravages the skin
and exorbitant with love we shred the foam
In that sweet refuge
we profane existence we sigh with sparks
in the end we are the footprints that we were born from the mist and in a rapture of stars
we succumb with certainty to forgotten tales
II.
y creaste estrellas
poblando el cosmos de luz
La escena está contemplada
en el reflejo de la presencia
que derrite el epilogo
Sube la ola
Tú y yo amándonos
Allegory
I speak to the breath to the petals
to the impetus
to the skin,
and to another organ where you are carved,
My love...
In my gelatinous memory
that remembers what is remembered you are alive
laughing,
dreaming
moaning
your sighs in the abyss,
your ambition and excitement,
your love sated with honey and firmament
anesthetize the dialectic and unwind the habits
The ebullition of your gaze
the language of your mischievous fingers, your turgid breasts
your body decorated with vertigo
your speech chewed in verses
and your poems in breaths that turn me into tears
into sparks
into sighs
into wind
Your kisses that shed the scent of the sky
the humidity of the dew
and the trembling of existence
You who hide behind the veil of Aphrodite,
and you rock in the branches of the moon
and you make your nest with the shadows of time, and promise jopyful paradise,
to you, creature of the Gods
I listen to your feelings
that in silence
figure the imagined
Beloved sorceress,
you were born on the altar of a comet
and created stars
populating the cosmos with light
The scene is contemplated
in the reflection of the presence
that melts the epilogue
The wave rises
You and I loving each other
III. Reflejos
Reflections
I walk on the dry leaves rustling desires
braiding figurative figures I look for the trace,
the light of her gaze,
the soul of an instant
The woman that captivated ambition with punishments and passions
She wanders alone like the Sayona
in the field of poppies
The girl wanders aimlessly
breathing the deserts
She drags moans and whimpers
with tears gushing guilt
It all began in winter
when she throbbed
she touched herself in her room, naked as sin
with her tender breasts
and her skin bristling,
an enigma made woman
I was hiding under a shadow, searching for riddles
when I saw her reflected in the mirror through the skylight
I thought I saw the sea
the sky
or a flower
trembling
Chewing saliva
and swallowing my desires
I sowed myself in the moment
She discovered me longing
her body
soul
and spirit
Our gazes spoke
kissed
and cried
Panic took over
she went out in terror across the field, she stripped naked
with moans profuse
embraced in agony
That day the poem was born
the poem
the love
and the madness
