Two Sides of Time

The Rhythm of Life

Wrinkled hands trace a memory's line,

Eyes reflect a love long entwined.

Silver whispers fill the quiet room,

A lifetime shared, defying the tomb.

Frail steps dance a tender ballet,

Two souls as one, come what may.

Laughter echoes, soft and sweet,

Hearts beat as one, a timeless meet.

Hearts heavy, a love incomplete,

Time takes its toll, a bitter defeat.

Laughter dies in the echoing room,

A lifetime lost, engulfed in gloom.

Ballet untaken, steps never danced,

Two souls adrift, forever chanced.

Memories fade, a love resigned,

Empty eyes search, forever to find.
