When we envision true love
A perfect image of once upon a time
Leading to happily ever after formulates
But the realness of it is
True love is putting in the work
Fighting through life’s battles to get to easy days
True love communicates vocally but
Voiced from the heart
True love can be tested constantly
And even when in the most trying times and dark tunnels
There will still be always and forever
Love for you
True love speaks volumes without even saying a word
Its a connection that can be hard to express in words
But it never goes unnoticed
True love heals you and makes you better
Encouraging you to push through it all
Forever and Always
Not just with smiles but hard days too
And thru it all if I had to play it back
Living life over again I would always choose
The road leading straight to true love again & again
