In the journey of life, we gather 'round,

A merry band of friends, we're bound.

But as we stroll through joys and woes,

Not all who join us are true shadows.

For most are here for the thrill, the fun,

When laughter echoes under the sun.

Convenient comrades in times of ease,

But vanish swiftly when troubles seize.

Yet amidst the crowd, a rare few stand,

True friends, who offer a helping hand.

They're there when the skies are gray,

When storms rage and troubles sway.

These are the ones who stay by your side,

In the darkest hours, they're your guide.

When the ride is rough and the journey long,

They're the melody to your soul's song.

For true friendship knows no bounds or measure,

It thrives in moments of pain and pleasure.

It's not about what you have to give,

But the love and support you receive and live.

So cherish these friends, rare and true,

For they're the ones who'll see you through.

In a world of pretense and disguise,

They're the stars that light up our skies.
