Today, the world is full of light
A new dawn breaks, a fresh sight
The sun rises, the birds take flight
A symphony of life, oh what a delight
Today, the air is crisp and clear
The wind whispers, without fear
The trees sway, as if to cheer
The day has come, let's draw near
Today, we're given a brand-new start
A chance to follow our own hearts
To mend the wounds, to play our part
To let go of the past, and make a new chart
Today, we can choose to be kind
To lend a hand, to ease someone's mind
To spread love, to help us find
That we are all one, of the same kind
Today, let's embrace the beauty around
The people, the places, the sights, and the sounds
Let's live in the moment, without a bond
For today is a gift, let's make it profound.
