TO MEET YOU

I would like to meet you

On an autumn night,

While the wind blows and

The stars are shining bright.

I would like to gaze into your eyes

And converse in a sweet tone,

While, ingenuously,

Time would linger, unknown.

I only need a kiss,

For it is my sole bliss.

I only need a moment,

Some shared space, omnipotent.

I will wait my whole life;

And even if it is not here,

Distance is not of the essence.

Consequences make no difference,

Circumstances are no askance.

I already know your pretty face

And your voice has a delightful grace.

I only need a kiss,

For it is my sole bliss.

I only need a moment,

Some common ground, omnipotent.

Soon after, we can part.

Future plans are unnecessary.

And it would be dreary

To bring in immorality.

What a joy to think of you!

So, until we finally meet...
