Tiny dancer

Report Story

A song for a dancer

Every morning I would wake up to a tiny dancer

She would leave a gracious kiss on my anxious forehead

To wash away thoughts of any worry

I would see her slide away

Into some melodies of hers

And there with her trembling body

Restless for a cup of coffee

She would hand me a plate full of love

As she would say

‘I love to see you cheerful every day’

In the corner of my eye

I see her giggling

As it is another wonder day for this big of a heart

Ah, these brown eyes how they sparkle

And how her hips flutter

I want to hold her

And dance away

Under trees

And skies

And all that will make her happy

So, when I go to sleep in the bed of love

I would still wake up in the morning

To a tiny dancer
