Time Witch

A Poem

Enter the bubble of the time witch

Watch as your mind drifts into a ditch

Here there are no watches

Just swatches of protruding pasts

And possible futures

Are you the only one that sees it

Or is it hers

Is it okay to believe it

Thoughts swarm your mind like locus

Trapped on this lily pad of lotus

When you’re with her

It’s hard to focus on anything else

There is nothing but yourselves

Life is put on a shelf
