Thunder Love

Petals of lightning

It rains with more than just teardrops

sky scattered in the wind,

heart calls another land

where love never left

stay

adore

each flower that surrendered petals,

each bloom taken on breeze,

I never cried for longer than a second,

and yet, soul goes on finding reasons

to fill each rainbow with emotions,

to love the rain

for all it brings

and takes.

***

Where did your love stay

hidden in a torrent,

how can you ask the thunder

to move another soul,

to teach heart

where no pebbles stayed,

to care

if no voice heard

a loving word,

inside a hug.

***

Lightning reigns in your home

floating on molten lake,

what was once sunny,

frozen,

what glimmered in the dark,

serene,

yet broken.

***

Where can heart feathers

alight

one more time,

where have you kept your thunder love,

lightning chooses one petal,

next,

can I wish for one love

another,

will I find twin heart in the rain

is it a curtain falling when you smile,

my window

to heartland?

***
