Denise? Stay swaggy? Ms. Cool, that isn't very cool at all. Or

Another meaning is having a fashionable and confident appearance or way of behaving. This meaning is derived from the word swag, which means a stylish or cool manner. Bing

Yes to the rest!

I agree with be kind

Have grace, you are the best

Give thanks and unwind

Speak love, this is no test

Stay swaggy and blind

to all of the quirks of the world

these things taught are not meant to be hurled.

What does it take?

a swim around the lake

cookies to bake

no, it takes whatever we make

it take. Training is fun

I know that for sure Hon

Getting together with all

the others, we will have a ball.

Love to learn

that is what we hear

while training over here.

Attending training

is the place to be refraining

from questioning

new things they are learning.

Why didn't we learn this before?

Good questions and there is more.

Note: Most of the material presented in the Native American curriculum training is not new material to the trainers, who have grown up in the culture. However much of the material is not taught in school. So people in the audience will often get upset not with the trainers but rather with the country and the school system.

Oh, it's so sad the material isn't being taught in school. Loved your poem!
