This One's For You

To all who came before me, this one's for you

I am here today because of your creation

Starting from the simple thought of what could become of you

Though strength, persistence, resistance, and determination

Your will has been done on Earth as it is in the heavens

I look out from a space deep within

Accepting my perspective as a unique individual part of a collective

Honored to be your descendant

Proud to share the space you once occupied

Inspired by what you left behind for me to build upon

Encouraged by your design I sit patiently waiting in nature

Preparing to leave my footprint to be examined

Careful not to damage such a grand articulation

I search the heaven of my mind

So I am sure not to infringe upon the intellectual properties of others

Making space available so that those who come net have room to grow

Taking an account of the home designs

Ensuring I replace them where I found them

Tidying up so I do not leave a mess making it difficult to create with
