What good can the actors do

When the writers who never knew

How to capture a single feeling

Let their hearts go reeling

Down pages and pages

While the audience races

To untangle the myths from legends

Begging for help from the Heavens

Lacking in training

The outcomes painstaking

If only the bases

Were like ancient vases

Solid handcrafted with care

So that when words laid bare

Make a semblance of sense

And are then worth more than cents

Therefore I abhor

All those who don’t pore

Over their work and the detail

Glossed over will derail

The whole dang story

The bloodied stage quite gory

With the entrails and remnants

Of poets slaughtered endless

Horns cut off for the prize

Then abandoned to die

Have some respect for the craft

Only untrue stories last

So make it a good one

Or you will become one.
