The Words You Speak

Words Are Seeds Use Them Wisely

Your tongue has the power for life and death

words you speak have strength in every breath

Choose wisely the thoughts you bring to life

Use them for love and healing but not strife

Your tongue is small but yet full of pride

deceit rolls from it like an ocean tide

guard your words with every thought

in doing this your tongue is caught

If you find yourself in a dispute

stop to think and take a different route

it's better to stop and listen first

before you get the urge to outburst

Let the words you speak always be true

even if it's your point of view

sometimes you are not always right

the words you say may start a fight.
