The Truth About Regret in Love
Understanding Regret in Relationships
What is Regret?
Regret is a complicated feeling that usually comes from situations where the chances were missed or the desires were unattained.
Regret is when both persons feel sorry for an incident that happened.
We realized this recently. The one that we have broken our hearts for no longer returned those feelings. Even if they were aware of our tears and sadness after they left, they probably would still not change their decision.
The huge distinction between us is that what we regret isn't what they regret.
Regretfully, they don't seem to appreciate what we have in common. We think they just fell into our relationship, not willingly joining it. Possibly, that is the way luck works. However, for a relationship to be happy, both persons have to desire it.
Regret seldom corresponds to the actual situation. The genuine regret only takes place when both of them are sad about it.
If you are not satisfied with the trip, you can again visit the same place. However, if the reason for the regret is that the other person didn't choose you, then going back will not change anything.
Regrets of a trip may transform into plans to see each other again. However, regrets from a relationship are usually just the figments of imagination.
Thus, it is necessary to release that regret! Perhaps real regret is not such a thing when it comes to feelings.
All regrets show that we are not suitable for each other.
They are not telling us to go back but to move on and not to repeat the same blunder.
