The Stars of Every Sky

By: Kemo779

And in the shadows of the earth the demons sang, they sang a mourning lullbay.

And all the fairy tales started bouncing, where the deepest rivers ran dry.

Where all the plants have withered, the seeds chose to try.

And as they failed miserably, the voyagers released a sigh.

And when life died, some fellow creatures were born.

And it's only then, true magic is beautifully shown.

O mother O salvation, please take me home.

O mother O salvation, won't you take me home?

In the deafness of every cave, a sweet echo broke.

Unwary of the rules, free of the oath they broke.

Such a magnificent land, a graveyard for the dead.

"And so it shall be inhabited!" the holy one said.

A safe haven for every thought, a sanctuary for the bereaved.

An artefact that reminds us of the ones we deceived.

A glimpse of a second where all worries are relieved.

Where all fragile lost dreams are restored and retrieved.

O mother, please take me home.
