The Seasons

2008

The breeze blows by

With the smell of fresh air

You’re wanting and waiting

To be out there

Mother Nature entices us so

The sweet smell of spring

The winter’s first snow

Autumn’s crunch of fallen leaves

Summer’s heat for which a pool relieves

The feel of rain drops on your head

The puddles to play in

The thunder and lightening that wakes you up in bed

And causes young children to run to there kin

Colors that spring up out of the ground

The song of the season that beautiful sound

The nip of the air, as you wait for the school bus to come

Glittering white surrounds you

So wrap up tight with loved ones by the fire like a bum

And shoveling seems like such a coo

Snow angels and Snowmen grace lawns everywhere

And show the feel of the season is still very much there
