The Quest for Life's Purpose

A Poem

Existence, a mystery so deep and true,

A question asked by me and by you.

What is the purpose of our life, so grand?

Is it a journey to an unknown land?

//

Some say it's to accumulate wealth and fame,

To gain success and play the life's game.

Others believe it's to fulfill a divine plan,

And to help those in need, lending a helping hand.

//

Perhaps it's to find love and make it last,

To live a life that's rich and fulfilled in the past.

Maybe it's to leave a legacy so bright,

That it shines long after we've passed from sight.

//

The truth is, the meaning of life is what we make,

Our choices, our actions, and the chances we take.

It's up to us to fill it with love, hope, and peace,

And to make the most of each moment we release.

//

So live your life with purpose and intent,

And don't waste it on things that have no permanence.

For in the end, it's not what we've gained,

But the love and kindness we've shared and sustained.
