She’d been happily content

Spending her emotional rent

On the love she thought

was her life

But then the thunder came

followed by the rain

And cast away all that was sunny

and bright

How delusional was she

To think that he

Could love her unconditionally?

Perhaps that was too much

For one to bear

Now the scars

She must wear

From now

Until…..

Part Two Coming Soon.
