With the frosty life

Brewing above.

Yggdrasil, Mother Nature

Continues to overcome.

With the Earth slowly returning

To its' track around the sun.

The new planet's rotation and seasons

Are trouble for some.

The seasons force

The Mammoths and more to migrate.

In search for food

And a colder climate.

As the time passes

From season to season.

Migrations are abundant

From legion to legion.

Back and forth

As the planet orbits.

The extinction is clear

As the animals run towards it.

Yet coming through the snow

Is a blooming fresh flower.

Yggdrasil pushes herself once more

To extend her power.

About the Creator

Mark Shaw

I began writing lyrics and stories back in high school. Even went as far as publishing a poem online and it being in a book. As with film a picture can say a thousand words and show emotion, but audio triggers that emotion.
