The Necromancers Gift

Another Love Poem

Place your gentle word by breath,

Escaping your lips upon my death.

Allow the warmth of heavenly heat,

Pass through palms and holy feet.

Atop my cooled and lifeless corpse,

Linger your gazing eyes of quartz.

Thrice your body over me lay,

As through times in ancient day.

Tears as diamonds slip,

Down your cheeks upon my lips.

Drops to warm my icy tongue,

Your love I want unto me flung.

Touch your kiss slant over mine,

Breathing deeply as by design.

Trust that this be a Necro’s sin,

To bring to life and be thine again.

About the Creator

Sarah Leggett

My passions happen to also be my demons for I will destroy myself in order to create the beauty I desire to see most on this Earth. If I am unable to create something breathtaking I would resolve to lock myself in a hidden tower.
