The Missing Puzzle Piece
When you find a soulmate
The warmth spreads throughout you
a lifetime feeling of pure connection
Releasing yourself from unbeknownst captivity
to finally see what you needed all along
But don't blink too fast because you might miss it
You will pass it by and it will be gone in a minute
The piece that makes sense
moving around just out of reach
You go out to grasp it with love and excitement
it's too quick and pure to be caught
So you search and search everywhere for this one thing
it keeps traveling farther and farther away from you
Just when you think it will go away forever
it stays to bring you back a smile
Take a forever picture with your mind
Because it might try again to say goodbye
Every time you do the same dance
every time feels just as special
Every time feels like it could be the last
every time you do not have it there is a gaping hole
Every time it is harder to believe
You found the other puzzle piece
