In the stillness of night, when the world rests,
A voice arises, an unbidden guest.
It whispers secrets, fears unknown,
In solitude's embrace, I'm not alone.
In shadows, it speaks, soft yet clear,
Echoes of memories, both distant and near.
It calls my name, a haunting sound,
In the silence, I'm tightly bound.
Through the dark, its murmur flows,
A river of thoughts where no one goes.
It weaves tales of joy and sorrow,
Of yesterdays and uncertain tomorrows.
In moments of doubt, it rises high,
A storm of words against the sky.
It questions paths I’ve yet to take,
The choices made, the hearts that break.
It sings of love, of loss, of pain,
Of sunshine after endless rain.
It draws from wells of deep despair,
Yet offers hope, a breath of air.
In laughter’s light, it softly hums,
A gentle tune of what’s to come.
It dances with the dreams I chase,
A fleeting glimpse of warm embrace.
It knows the scars I try to hide,
The battles fought, the tears inside.
It’s there in triumph, there in fall,
The voice that echoes through it all.
At times it’s kind, a friend in need,
At times it’s cruel, a thorny seed.
It drives me mad, it keeps me sane,
A constant presence, joy and bane.
In silent screams, it finds its voice,
In quiet moments, I find my choice.
To listen close, to understand,
The voice within, the guiding hand.
It tells a story, mine alone,
Of broken dreams and stepping stones.
In every word, in every breath,
The voice in my head, till death.
It’s part of me, it always was,
A silent witness, just because.
In every heartbeat, every tear,
The voice in my head, always near.
