The Longest Birthday

Marie’s birthday falls on the longest day of the year, Summer Solstice 2024.

“Wake up, Marie! It’s your birthday 🎂 🥳! You can celebrate it any way that you like.” The red Genie in her dream told her.

Marie woke up in her dream. She saw a Red Genie floating in the air. Smoke coming from an ancient golden lamp. Marie rubbed her eyes three times not sure what she was seeing real.

“ You get three wishes today on your birthday. First, you must sing “Happy Birthday to me.” 3 times, and rub the 🪔 lamp nine times to get your three wishes for the day. Today will feel like three days.” the Red Genie Instructed.

1st wish that lasted all morning but it felt like a whole day. Marie wished to ride a helicopter 🚁 around Niagara Falls and to New York City.

“That is just a simple wish, my child. Your wish is my command.” The Red Genie fulfilled Marie’s first wish.

Marie was on a Helicopter ride to Niagara Falls. The helicopter was loud. She developed fox ears from the helicopter ride.

They flew to New York City in a helicopter in just a few hours. She enjoyed the ride and the scenery along the way. They circle the Statue of Liberty three times.

It was so cool to see it so closed up in the air. Marie was on cloud nine from the helicopter ride. It was still late morning and Marie had two more wishes to make.

“Did you enjoy your first wish?” the Genie asked her.

“Yes, I did. Thank you, Genie. I will never forget this wish.” She answered with a beaming smile on her face.

She was unaware that she developed fox ears from the helicopter ride.

“Are you ready to make your second wish for today, birthday girl?” he asked.

“Yes, I am ready to make my second wish. I wish for a billion dollars.” Marie made her second wish.

“Are you sure dear? You cannot spend a billion dollars in a day.” The genie doubted she could spend a billion dollars in a day. It would be invalid if she cannot do it.

“Yes, I can!!! I will hire 100 lawyers to expedite my spending efficiently,” she replied.

“You are a smart lady. Lawyers do overcharge at times. Remember if you cannot spend all of the Billion dollars you will grow a long nose like Pinocchio.”

Marie was able to buy buildings around the world for the homeless.

It was nightfall when she finally completed her second wish.

“A famous person I like will fall in love with me is my third wish.” Marie made her third wish to the Red Genie. She followed the Genie’s instructions when making her wishes.

“ Your wish is my command!” the Genie granted her last wish of the day.

A limousine pulled up in front of Marie’s apartment building. All the people outside the building were surprised to see a parked limo in front of them. It was a beautiful summer evening. The sun was still lighting the skyways.

A handsome celebrity pressed the numbers for her apartment to be buzzed in the building.

“Who is it?” she pressed her intercom to answer her famous caller.

“ My dear, Marie you have just been awarded a dinner date to Paris with me. I will fly you on my private plane tonight. I will get you back home by midnight.” the famous person replied.

She called out the famous person’s name with excitement. She was doing the running man dance with a big smile.

“ You have only ten minutes to get ready, my dear.” she was told.

Marie took three minutes to shower quickly. She put her hair in a bun. She took out her Versace dress that her billion-dollar wish purchased. She put on her favorite Prada shoes. She peered it with her Louis Vuitton bag. She got the perfect gift for her dinner date, Billionaire Boyfriend perfume.

She had a minute to spare by the time she got off the elevator from the penthouse floor of her apartment.

She said hi to all her neighbors outside looking on with curiosity.

She got in the limo. She gave the famous person a hug and a kiss. She handed him her perfume gift and a 1775 wine from her billion-dollar wish.

It took them ten minutes to get to the private airport's hangar. The jet was a supersonic private jet. It normally took eight hours to fly to Paris from Marie’s town. The SuperSonic Jet took two hours.

They had a meaningful conversation during the flight to Paris. They had dinner at Bruno Verjus in France. After dinner, they danced at the two famous Paris nightclubs L’Arc and Palau’s Maillot.

Marie woke up from her birthday dream at exactly, midnight like a puff of smoke. She was in her bed in her sleepwear.
