Everyone loves the idea of love
The idea of being with someone who truly cares about you
The one who gives you a fuzzy feeling inside
No matter where the person may be
You may be thinking of them right now
But it doesn't have to be a romantic thing
You can find love all around you
With your friends
Family
Nature
Inner peace
In the little details in life
But it's not a thought that we think of often
We are human
We are in love with the idea of ¨love¨
When a person talks about love
Their eyes light up like a thousands stars
Glistening in the night
But try to close your eyes and listen to the sounds around you
The calming water drops floating around
The sweet sound of birds chirping
The wind blowing on a summer’s eve
Now open your eyes and look around you
You see a child playing with their parents
Smile so big it creates warmth in you
A person helping someone in need
Causing a glimpse of faith in humanity
A determined person conquering their dreams
wishing them all the luck in your heart
That is love
Love is a powerful thing
That keeps evil from taking over
Love is supporting one another
Love is never giving up on one another
Love is embracing your surroundings
Love is love

Time for #2
This is the second article on my review of the ideas in The Four Agreements. Here's the first article: I knew that I'd move forward with this series, but I put it off as Agreement #2 is a big stumbling block for me. I'd like to say I decided to get out of my own way and thus wrote this, but that isn't the truth. (Since Agreement #1 is to Be Impeccable with Your Word I surely need to own up to that)
